Elly ...Hypnotherapist

Elly would like to make her hypnosis service available to the tango community. Her skills might be especially helpful to tangueros who would like to stop smoking or who have allergies, eating disorders, headaches, weight problems and other health issues. Elly, who holds a Ph.D. in psychology from Union Graduate School, Ohio, has been working in medical and sports hypnosis for over 25 years.

The past president of the Chicago Society of Clinical Hypnosis (CSCH), she includes Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Adlerian Psychology in her practice. The Laser method of incorporating hypnosis in childbirth coaching has won her national acclaim and has been featured on WGN network news. Elly is currently training a special group of doctors, nurses and technicians to use hypnosis for surgery at Harvard U. in Boston. She is affilated with several professional groups including ASEH and APA.
